Privacy Policy
Mouthful collects no personal data. It works fully offline.
What we collect
Nothing. Mouthful has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and it contains no third-party advertising or analytics code. The app makes no network connections of its own, so we do not receive any information about you or how you use it.
Where your progress lives
Your streak, your lessons, your review schedule and your collection are saved only on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, they are deleted with it.
Sources and links
Every culture card and language fact links to the public sources it was checked against. Tapping a source link opens that page in your web browser. That is a visit to someone else's website, and their privacy policy applies to it. The app itself sends nothing when you tap.
Hearing phrases
When you tap to hear a phrase, Mouthful uses the voice built into your iPhone. The speech is made on your device, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Reporting a mistake
Tapping "Report a mistake" opens an email draft in your mail app. Nothing is sent unless you send it yourself.
Sharing
If you tap share, Mouthful creates a card of your day and hands it to the iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes. The card is created on your device, and we never see it.
Notifications
Mouthful does not send notifications.
Children
Because Mouthful collects no data, it collects none from children either.
Changes
This policy will be updated before any online features ship, so you will always know what changes before it applies to you.
